A better place
to live

Our vision is to provide a place which brings together design excellence, unerring attention to detail and a thriving community spirit to create one of the best places to live in South East England.

Our programme of woodland planting will introduce over 20,000 new trees, encouraging nature to flourish, while the very best in health, education and leisure facilities are never more than a few minutes away.

Community Hub

The centrally located community hub will provide a wealth of essential services to residents, including new shops, a new doctors’ surgery and a community centre with meeting rooms, a branch library and indoor sports hall.

Organised around a new civic square, cafes and restaurants will take advantage of south-facing terraces, over-looking a space for a variety of community events, which could include a local farmers market.

The existing Kent and Canterbury Hospital is close by, and a little to the south of the Community Hub is the site designated for the proposed new Kent and Canterbury Hospital. This sparks the potential for a state of the art teaching hospital should the NHS and local universities realise their ambitions.

A better environment

Mountfield Park has been designed as a sustainable development, with careful consideration given to minimising its impact on the living environment.

50 new acres of woodland, extensive green corridors and public open spaces characterise the Mountfield Park plans. Careful water management, energy efficient buildings, an electric bicycle scheme, electric vehicle charging points and local food production are all part of our ambition to create a greener place to be.
